Nsasoft Releases NSAuditor AI CE 0.1.12 — 26 Plugins, Improved Subnet Scanning, and Enhanced MCP Tooling

LAS VEGAS, April 15, 2026 — Nsasoft US LLC today announced the release of NSAuditor AI CE 0.1.12, an update to the open-source Community Edition of its AI-powered network security scanner. This release improves parallel subnet scanning performance, expands the MCP server toolset, and ships four targeted bug fixes.

26 Scanner Plugins

CE 0.1.12 covers the full spectrum of network service auditing across 26 plugins:

• Network: Port scanner (SYN + connect), host discovery, OS fingerprinting, subnet sweep
• Protocols: SSH, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/SSL, DNS, SNMP, SMB, RPC, mDNS, UPnP, LDAP, Redis, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Application: Web application scanner, directory enumeration, header analysis, robots.txt, sitemap discovery
• Monitoring: CTEM watch mode with delta detection, webhook alerting, SQLite history (7-day retention)

The Enterprise Edition extends the platform to 31 plugins total by adding 5 cloud scanners: AWS, GCP, Azure, and Zero Trust assessment.

Improved Parallel Scanning

Subnet scanning now scales more efficiently across large /16 and /24 ranges, with configurable concurrency limits and smarter host batching. Scan throughput on typical enterprise networks has improved by approximately 40% in benchmarks.

Enhanced MCP Tooling

The MCP server now exposes additional tools for AI assistant integration:

• get_scan_history — query past scan results stored in the local SQLite database
• compare_scans — delta analysis between two scans to surface new or resolved findings
• Improved probe_service coverage for Redis and MongoDB

These tools are available to any MCP-compatible AI assistant including Claude Desktop and Claude Code, enabling natural-language security audit workflows.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed TLS certificate parsing for certificates with non-standard SANs
• Resolved SNMP v3 authentication timeout on slow networks
• Corrected SARIF output schema compliance for GitHub Code Scanning ingestion
• Fixed mDNS scanner crash on macOS when no Bonjour services are present
