Microsoft patched zero-day Internet Explorer vulnerability under active exploit and an Exchange Server flaw that allowed remote attackers with little privileged mailbox account to gain administrative control. The Internet Explorer zero-day exploit was discovered very recently while the Exchange exploit was disclosed last month by a security researcher. According to Microsoft, the Internet Explorer vulnerability could potentially allow attackers to test for specific files stored in systems.
